PRODUCT / CHANGELOG
What’s changed.
October 9, 2026 — Access limited to Verdict employee test accounts
The API is closed to customers until launch. A master switch on the gateway is off by default; only Verdict employee test accounts are admitted. This replaces the September 28 self-service key entry below: Verdict Decision keys will be created on this site at launch, and are not created from a Verdict account.
October 7, 2026 — Coding Decision Benchmarks & Game Theory API
Published the local empirical research pilot on 90 functional code discrimination tasks (Real coding decisions, measured locally). Exposed first-class game-theoretic decision strategies in the Decision API: cyclic (cyclic permutation group debiasing cancelling slot position bias algebraically to 0.0) and tournament (pairwise round-robin tournaments with Bradley-Terry MLE and Condorcet consistency checks).
September 30, 2026 — Models use their real names
Each model is now listed under the name its authors publish it as, with a provenance block in GET /v1/models saying who trained it, the upstream revision, the license and whether the weights were modified. verdict-decision-1 is now decider-4b-v2, verdict-laya-typed-1 is laya-typed-decisions and verdict-laya-multilingual-1 is laya-multilingual. The old IDs keep working permanently and serve the same weights. Responses now report the new ID in model, and the ID you sent in requested_model.
September 28, 2026 — Self-service API keys
Decision keys are now created, rotated, and revoked from your TrueSynthesis account, the same account you use for Verdict. The gateway verifies each key with that account. Manage Decision API keys
September 28, 2026 — Website and live playground
The specialist’s identity and page design now provide the website’s visual language. The site includes working API documentation, access links, live gateway status, and an authenticated playground for propositions, choices, and scores.
September 27, 2026 — Decision API
The public gateway introduced the pinned verdict-decision-1 snapshot and verdict-decision alias, model discovery, typed answers, abstention, idempotency, and execution receipts. Access uses provisioned bootstrap keys; public billing and self-service key issuance are still pending.
